What We Believe
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. Therefore, our ministry emphasizes the exposition of God’s Word from Genesis to Revelation, line upon line, precept upon precept.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God
our pastors
Bishop James Walden, Jr. is an anointed minister of the gospel. He was called to preach at the age of 10 years old and has preached for over 50 years. He is ordained with the Church of God Mountain Assembly (CGMA). In his ministry, he has served as a Pastor in Florida and Tennessee and Ohio. He was associate Pastor in Indiana. He served the CGMA on the Executive Board as Mission Director and General Overseer. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Sharon Parmley Walden for 42 years. They met at Campground Hills, the CGMA church camp. He and Sharon have three sons and five grandchildren. His ministry and life are encompassed by serving others and spreading the gospel of Christ both nationally and internationally. He loves God, he loves his family, and he loves people. He strives to build the kingdom of God.
